Joint Ethics Committee

The Auckland Health Research Ethics Committee (AHREC) was established as part of the Auckland Academic Health Alliance. AHREC provides:

ethical oversight and approval of clinical/health research that is not eligible for review by a Health and Disability Ethics Committee (HDEC)
where that research is carried out by staff and students of the University of Auckland, or staff of the Auckland District Health Board or Counties Manukau District Health Board.
